Air Canada Orders Eight Airbus A350-1000s for Fleet Renewal

Air Canada has confirmed a firm order for eight Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, a strategic move aimed at modernizing its long-haul fleet and supporting its global network growth. The order, which was previously listed as undisclosed in November 2025, marks a significant investment in next-generation widebody technology for the Canadian flag carrier, which is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The first deliveries of the new A350-1000s are scheduled to begin in the second half of 2030.
