Under the terms of the expanded agreement, Kuwait Airways gains access to nineteen international destinations within Emirates’ extensive global network. These new routes span multiple regions, including key markets in Australia, China, Cyprus, Japan, the United States, and South Africa, offering Kuwait Airways passengers unprecedented reach and convenience. In return, Emirates will now access eight new destinations within Kuwait Airways’ network, including important points in Egypt, Turkey, Iraq, and Azerbaijan, thereby expanding its own travel options into these crucial regional markets.
Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan, Chairman of Kuwait Airways, emphasized that this cooperation aligns with the national carrier’s vision to diversify travel options and strengthen its international presence through effective partnerships. He highlighted the commitment to providing high-quality services and seamless travel experiences. Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer at Emirates, echoed this sentiment, stating that the collaboration enhances connectivity across regional and global markets, delivering greater value and a smoother travel experience for customers of both airlines. The partnership reinforces a commitment to supporting the flow of travel and trade between Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.
