The agreement, signed on Mangsir 16 at NAC's central office in Kathmandu, saw NAC Executive Director Amritman Shrestha and NTB Chief Executive Officer Deepak Raj Joshi ink the pact, underscoring a joint commitment to national development.

Under the terms of the MoU, NAC will provide discounted air tickets on its operational routes for NTB officials and staff engaged in various promotional activities. In reciprocal support, NTB will allocate dedicated stall space to Nepal Airlines at both domestic and international tourism promotional events. Both entities are also set to collaborate on a series of joint marketing campaigns, familiarization trips for travel professionals, brand-promotion initiatives, and broader market outreach programmes designed to amplify Nepal's presence in global tourism markets.

Officials from both organizations anticipate that this collaboration will inject new energy into Nepal's tourism industry. The partnership is projected to increase passenger numbers, facilitate market expansion, diversify tourist destinations within the country, and ultimately enhance Nepal's international image as a premier travel destination. As the national flag carrier, NAC is committed to strengthening Nepal's air connectivity, while NTB continues its mission to establish the Himalayan nation as an attractive global hub for travelers.
