Step Inside Air India's New Flagship Maharaja Lounge at Delhi T3

Air India has unveiled its first flagship Air India Maharaja Lounge at Delhi Airport Terminal 3 (DEL). This opening marks a significant milestone in the airline’s ongoing transformation under the Tata Group. A New Benchmark in Premium Travel

The new facility is located at the international pier of Terminal 3. It spans an impressive 16,000 square feet. The lounge is designed to accommodate about 300 guests at one time.

Air India’s CEO, Campbell Wilson, called the lounge a "tangible and proud representation" of the "New Air India Experience." The design blends modern luxury with heritage-inspired Indian motifs. Global design studio Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) conceptualized the space.

The Air India Maharaja Lounge is divided into distinct zones. These areas cater to different passenger needs, from work to relaxation.

• The Aviator's Bar: A speakeasy-style bar inspired by J.R.D. Tata's historic 1932 flight. It offers a curated selection of wines and whiskeys.
• The Crystal Bar: A champagne and signature cocktail bar with shimmering crystal enclosures.
• Globetrotter's Study: A quiet workspace with high-speed Wi-Fi and power outlets.
• Serenity Area: A quiet zone featuring individual recliners for pre-flight rest.
• Dining: Guests can enjoy Indian and international cuisine. This includes options from live cooking stations.
• Beverage on Wheels: A unique service offering bespoke cocktails delivered to the guest's seat.

First Class and Eligibility

The lounge features separate sections for Business Class and an exclusive area for Air India First Class passengers. The First Class section offers premium seating with tarmac views. It also provides access to private Sleep Suites for pre-flight rest.

Eligibility for entry to The Maharaja Lounge begins progressively from February 16, 2026. Access is granted to several groups of travelers.
