Uzbekistan Airways to Receive New Airbus A321neo from ICBC Aviation Leasing - UzDaily.uz

Uzbekistan Airways is set to receive two new Airbus A321neo aircraft from ICBC Aviation Leasing, marking the first partnership between the airline and the Chinese leasing company. The memorandum of intent solidifies Uzbekistan Airways' commitment to modernizing its fleet and expanding its international presence in the aircraft leasing market. Deliveries of the two-class configured aircraft are scheduled for 2027–2028.

The new Airbus A321neo aircraft will feature Airbus Airspace Premium cabins, in-flight entertainment systems, and internet connectivity, enhancing passenger comfort and access to digital services. This upgrade aligns with Uzbekistan Airways' strategy to provide a superior travel experience.

By 2028, the Uzbekistan Airways Airbus A321neo fleet will increase to 15 aircraft, significantly advancing the airline’s fleet modernization efforts and improving operational efficiency. The addition of these fuel-efficient aircraft will also contribute to reduced operating costs and a smaller environmental footprint.

The partnership with ICBC Aviation Leasing underscores Uzbekistan Airways’ commitment to developing international collaborations. By expanding its fleet with modern aircraft, the airline aims to provide passengers with enhanced comfort and safety during travel, solidifying its position in the competitive aviation market.
