Gulf Air orders 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliner during Dubai Airshow

Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, has finalized a firm order for 15 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, with options for three more, at the Dubai Airshow. This order, announced on November 18, 2025, builds upon a previous commitment made in July and brings Gulf Air's total order book to 17 of these widebody jets. The deal was formalized by Martin Gauss, CEO of Gulf Air, and Brad McMullen, Boeing Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales and Marketing, during the Dubai Airshow. Khalid Husain Taqi, Chairman of Gulf Air Group, emphasized that this acquisition accelerates their strategy to increase capacity and deliver a more sustainable travel experience. The airline aims to strengthen its position in the competitive aviation market by investing in modern, fuel-efficient aircraft.

Stephanie Pope, President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, expressed Boeing's honor in having the 787 Dreamliner selected as the cornerstone of Gulf Air's fleet.
