Malaysia to launch new flight routes to China and Uzbekistan in December

AirAsia and Batik Air are expanding their route networks with new direct flights from Malaysia to Kunming, China, and Tashkent, Uzbekistan, respectively. AirAsia will operate three weekly flights from Johor Baru to Kunming, commencing in December, complementing its existing Kuala Lumpur to Kunming service. This makes AirAsia the only low-cost carrier in Malaysia offering this direct route. Batik Air is introducing a weekly direct service from Langkawi to Tashkent, also starting in December, adding to its twice-weekly flights from Kuala Lumpur to Tashkent, catering to growing demand from the Uzbekistan market.
