Red Wings Airlines is set to significantly expand its flight network to Uzbekistan for the upcoming 2025–2026 winter season, introducing new routes and increasing frequencies to key cities. This strategic expansion aims to capitalize on Uzbekistan's growing tourism appeal, particularly during the cooler winter months when historical sites become more accessible and travel costs typically decrease. The move positions Red Wings to capture a larger share of the burgeoning travel market between Russia and Central Asia.
The expansion includes the launch of regular flights from Samara to Tashkent, operating twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays, which commenced on November 10. Starting December 3, new services will connect Makhachkala with Urgench, running on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Furthermore, an expanded schedule from Yekaterinburg to Bukhara is slated to begin on December 10, also with twice-weekly operations. Existing flights from Makhachkala to Bukhara, Tashkent, and Namangan will continue, reinforcing the airline's presence across the region.
Red Wings, recognized as one of Russia's top ten airlines, specializes in a diverse portfolio of services, including regular and charter passenger flights, as well as business and cargo transportation. The airline boasts an extensive route network encompassing over 100 domestic and international destinations. Its operational fleet predominantly features Russian-made SSJ-100 aircraft, with 24 units currently in active service, underpinning its capacity for this ambitious regional growth.
