Ryanair recorded a significant 6% year-on-year increase in passenger traffic for November, carrying 13.8 million travelers across its network. This figure compares to 13 million passengers transported during the same month last year. The low-cost carrier maintained a robust load factor of 92%, consistent with the previous year, while operating over 78,000 flights throughout the month. On a rolling 12-month basis, extending from November to November, Ryanair's total passenger count reached 205.7 million, marking a 5% rise compared to the preceding 12-month period.
In anticipation of the upcoming Christmas travel season, Ryanair has also announced the strategic addition of thousands of extra seat capacity to and from three key Irish airports: Cork, Shannon, and Ireland West/Knock. This expansion includes a further 4,900 seats on its Knock service for Christmas 2025, over 12,600 additional seats for Cork routes, and an extra 9,000 seats allocated to its Shannon operations, aiming to meet increased demand during the holiday period.
