In anticipation of the upcoming Christmas travel season, Ryanair has also announced the strategic addition of thousands of extra seat capacity to and from three key Irish airports: Cork, Shannon, and Ireland West/Knock. This expansion includes a further 4,900 seats on its Knock service for Christmas 2025, over 12,600 additional seats for Cork routes, and an extra 9,000 seats allocated to its Shannon operations, aiming to meet increased demand during the holiday period.
