Aviation academy inspection signals major progress toward Ho project launch

Ghana's Ho Aviation Academy is making significant progress toward its launch, as demonstrated by a recent high-level inspection led by Togbe Afede XIV. The academy, situated within the Ho Airport enclave, is poised to become a key center for aviation training and maintenance. The inspection included James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, Stephen Adom, Ho Municipal Chief Executive, and partners from Sweden, highlighting the collaborative effort behind the project.

The academy will house a pilot-training school and an aircraft maintenance unit, designed to enhance Ghana's technical aviation capabilities. Togbe Afede XIV expressed satisfaction with the project's progress, emphasizing its potential for job creation and skills development in the Volta Region.
