FLY91, an Indian regional airline, is set to expand its operations by adding three more ATR 72-600 aircraft to its fleet by March 2026. This expansion will enable the airline to introduce new routes and increase its current operational capacity, which includes over 120 weekly flights. Since commencing operations in March 2024, FLY91 has strategically grown its network, focusing on regional air connectivity. The airline currently operates four ATR 72-600 aircraft, a mix of purchased and leased planes, connecting eight destinations including Goa, Pune, and Bengaluru.

FLY91 distinguishes itself as a digital-native airline, foregoing a traditional call center model. The airline's Founder, MD, and CEO, Manoj Chacko, emphasized the company's commitment to sustainable growth and customer-centric operations. The airline has secured funding of Rs 250 crore to support its expansion plans. FLY91 carried nearly 1.7 lakh passengers in its first year, operating over 3,500 flights.

Looking ahead, FLY91 aims to expand its fleet to 30 aircraft within five years. These aircraft will operate from multiple bases, each covering 8-10 cities, further solidifying the airline's presence in the regional aviation market. The airline is headquartered in Goa and operates under Just Udo Aviation Pvt Ltd.

The airline's strategy involves a measured approach to competition, focusing on delivering value and service rather than engaging in aggressive market tactics. FLY91's expansion plans reflect a positive outlook on the growth potential of India's aviation sector and its commitment to connecting underserved regions.
